FAQ

Have the cow’s growth factors also a positive effect on humans?

Nature has made it simple here and therefore it does not distinguish between animal and human growth factors, so it can release its effect also on humans.

Is the colostrum, which is essential for the calves development, taken away from the calves?

Of course not. For a calf, this would have fatal consequences, it would perish within five days. Therefore the calf is always supplied first and after the cow gives more colostrum than the calf needed on the day of birth, we can take the rest.

Growth factors can only penetrate into the epidermis skin, where they can already have a great effect, but wrinkles develop in the deeper lying skin (dermis). How can the stem cells be activated in the dermis if growth factors cannot pass through the basement membrane?

As early as 1986, the scientists Stanley Cohen and Rita Levi-Montalcini discovered that the epidermal growth factor (EGF) activates cells in the uppermost layers of the skin and the information activates a signal cascade which continues to the skin. Thus, the stem cells in the deep skin layers are also activated by EGF from the dermis skin.

Can the serum be used on sensitive skin parts, for example in the area of​the eyes, or inflamed skin parts?

The medical EGF Serum does not contain any substances which can cause irritation of sensitive skin parts as well as the eyes. It is recommended to treat diseased skin parts with the medical EGF skin balm. Particularly with inflammation, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis or eczema, the balm can have a supporting and soothing effect. In case of open skin due to injuries, the application can lead to a short-term, usually harmless burning. In open wounds, however, this can occur more intensively, so the balm should not be applied. The balsam does not meet the requirements for the treatment of open wounds.

Can there be reactions in general or on sensitive parts of the skin?

In the case of heavily under-treated skin, slight redness may occur in the first 10 days, as is also known, for example, in the application of natural remedies. This is a positive signal from the skin and indicates the active regeneration process. If the balm is used as usual, until the skin is again provided with the necessary nutrients, not only the redness will decrease but also a clearly visible rejuvenation effect will occur.
